Today we will start a short walk through water complexes in eastern Slovenia. It will begin in Zreče – small and cosy water park in a little village, some 40 km south from Maribor.
There is one pool with cold water there and 5 with hot water (including 2 under the roof). Our daughter loved this place. One day we came there at 9 a.m. and were leaving at 5 p.m. with her crying that it was too short!
We ate there in the only bar, but food was surprisingly tasty (though not that cheap). There are several grass areas to unfold your sunbed and you can move it freely back and forward as the place is not crowded at all.
With the discount we got from our hotel we paid only 25 EUR for 3 people for the whole working days (a bit more at weekend). I would really recommend this water park both for the fun of children and for the rest of their parents 😉
In next post I will invite you to water complex in Olimje.

Ohh, great! You were doing it for me, or better instead of me. Haven’t been there yet and must follow in your footsteps. How about Topolšica?

We haven’t been there. Beside Zrece and Olimje, we also went to Lasko. As we were staying in Gorenje pri Zrecach, Zrece was our main swimming destination 🙂

We wschodniej Słowenii są wody termalne, więc sporo basenów ma ciepłą wodę. W Zrece tylko jeden basen miał wodę zimną (na 7). Ania to pływałaby nawet w przeręblu 😀
