Nie akceptując samochodów i traktorów Amisze pozostali wierni tradycyjnym formom przemieszczania się i uprawy roli. Na drogach nie dziwią konne zaprzęgi wiozące schludnie ubranych mieszkańców. Na jednym z pól dostrzegliśmy kobietę, która boso stała na pługu i powoziła 6 końmi naraz! Kobieta-heros. Nie mogliśmy od niej oderwać wzroku.

Amish do not accept cars and tractors and are bound to their traditional means of moving around and farming. It’s not a surprise therefore to see carriages pulled by horses and carrying neatly dressed people. On one of the fields we even noticed a woman standing barefoot on the plow and leading 6 horses at a time! Hero Woman. We can’t stop watching her.
