Silesia is Polish since the end of II WW. But the German “soul” can still be felt here.
Gliwice – my home town – is a part of Upper Silesia. This region belonged to German lands for 5 centuries (XV – XX). And though Poland has been ruling here for the last 70 years, the touches of different architecture’s style are still visible.
Enjoy the mosaic of red-bricked buildings from a few Silesian cities.

Piekne sa nasze polskie miejsca. Ja uwazam, ze Polska jest jednym z najpiekniejszych krajow. To tak na wypadek gdybys nie wiedziala co mysle… 😉

Actually from the original church only the walls and the ceiling remained. The building is rather empty and used for different public events (like concerts).
