Most of the interiors of the palace are completely distroyed. Red bricks are sticking from the walls.
But in few places the remnants of old glory are still visible. Great battles, knights and horses run along the walls. A wardrobe, a chair, a painting. Broken columns. Not much survived from this nest of XIX century art.
I walk along the patios and under the arcades. Light create here beautiful shades. So much space everywhere. Unforgetable place!

Nie, w zeszłym roku go odkryłyśmy i stwierdziłyśmy, że im się tam też będzie bardzo podobać.

What beautiful art, and how sad to see it deteriorating. The brick showing through makes the image really interesting though.

Yes, it’s always a shame to see great architecture destroyed and abandoned. There are so many castle and palaces in Poland with just bare walls remaining. Luckily still a few survived.
