First a very tiny hole appears. Only the eagle’s eye can see it 😉
But water goes through it to and fro, to and fro …
After hours, days and months the hole gets bigger. Now you can see the water coming out with a little spash any time the tide arrives.

The hole grows into an arch, then a pocket, cavity, small cave and a big Blue Cave!
There are hundreds of Blue Caves on the east coast of Zakynthos. Some are so petite as the babies can be. The others – big enough to enter them with a boat. All are unique in shape and the shade of water that bathes them.
Visit my Facebook account to see the beauty of blue water.
And check my YouTube account for films showing the 3 caves that I visited.

This place definitely seems like a piece of paradise! Should we rent a boat to them or we can go by bus?

The most common way to get to the Blue Caves is by boat. There are tens of boats to be rented and several places (small harbours) from where you can start your trip. It’s advised to choose as small boat as possible as that allows you to enter many caves.
