Gold and silver, wood and marble, paintings on walls and ceilings.

The church – part of Cistercians’ monastery – is fully covered with decorations.

I stare for a long while at the benches (stalle) from year 1731 (main photo) that were accomplished by convent’s woodcarver – brother Benedict.

Then I admire baroque paintings on all walls and ceilings. There are so many of them. So much work and devotion!

There is still a pulpit, a wooden font and so many other little decorations. One hour seems too short to fully experience this church but see at least these few marvels that I managed to shoot:
