This huge palace was fully used for only 11 years.

I promised to Leya that I will write a bit more about the residence in Krzyżtopór which I mentioned in my CFFC post.

This fortress was built for 24 years of XVII century (1620 – 1644) by a noble man Krzysztof Ossoliński. But he lived there only 1 year (and then he suddenly died).

I entered the palace through a gate with stony cross (symbol of faith) and axe (coat of arm of Ossoliński’s family).

A huge yard opened in front of me. Three levels of glassless windows surrounded me from all sides. An enormous construction that became a ruin already in year 1770 (when it was burnt by Russian army).
