I stepped on this unusual housing estate while waiting for a train in Warszawa Zachodnia station. All carriages are plugged in to electricity and water. I only wonder, how they manage with sewage system …
As for words ending with “y” it’s a simple task. In Polish language many words in plural form possess this finishing letter, like “domy” = houses or “wagony” = carriages.

Good idea! Swedish is much similar to German and English – they belong to the same indoeuropean branch. I understand why your languages match too.

Really? They were quite popular in Poland during communistic era. These were mostly “railway people” who lived there (they retired and moved to these train-houses).
