I’ve spent all my life in one town and the same house.
It’s Gliwice in the south of Poland. An old German town. I wrote already several times about its red-brick architecture that I admire.
But today I want to tell you of two other spots that you should visit while in Gliwice.
The first is Telecommunication Tower. Here the II World War started on September 1, 1939. It’s 130 meters heigh and all from wood (except for the screws).
Second place will take you to all possible exotic countries in the world. It’s a Palm House. Here you can see plants (and some fish in aquariums) from Africa, Americas and Asia. The best location to rest in peace and warmth ๐
The palms during summer time are exposed in several places in my town (on main photo – in front of High Technical School).

Gliwice seems to have much to offer for a first time visitor! The tower made of wood is amazing and Palmhouse seems to be an exciting experience.

Lovely. I lived in the same street in Ljubljana, Slovenia, until I was 43 and then moved to Tuscany. ๐ Miracles happen!
