These birds look very tiny. But in reality …
In reality these are storks – one of the biggest Polish birds. Their wingspan can exceed even 2 meters.
I call them Polish because they are born in our country. Each October they leave for South Africa in search of the warmth. Each March they come back to Poland to nest and grew up new generation of storks.

Thank you. I have one nest on my way to work. I watch them each year – how they come, rise children and then fly away. A constant circle.

Lucky you! In Sweden we have a stork project going on to save them. A couple of hundreds are nesting now.
