New on the left hand side, old – on the right. The connection is hidden behind the tree.
First I spotted the light almost shining on the barn’s walls. Then I noticed, the other part is created with darker boards. And then – when passing by – I discovered the tree. That was the missing element that completed the scene.
Caught during 5-hours walk in Beskidy Mountains (south of Poland) on last December days of 2016.

I like how the line separating old and new comes exactly at the tree trunk 🙂 Good eye 🙂

I’m reading a book of Jacek Bonecki (my Christmas present), so I try to improve my photographing accordingly 😉

I do like your photo. It took me a second to figure it out, but wonderful find for this week.
