Essaouira (in Arabic As-Sawira / previously Mogador) was founded by Portugueses at the beginning of XVI century who built here a fortress Castelo Real de Mogador that’s survived till today. Its mighty walls look proudly over the blue sea and long row of cannons guard the town against invaders. Crowds of seagulls slides on the wind that blows so strong as if to throw everyone down into the high waves.

I hope, you will be able to go there pretty soon. It’s complately different culture, tradition and architecture then the one I know from Europe. Important experience.
